We have here an Oris Williams F1 Team wristwatch, model 7613. The black dial has Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock, with the day date window at 3 o'clock. Through the remaining indices you can see the calendar wheel, which is a detail we love! The black, fixed bezel has the minute tracking.
The large size, 42mm, stainless steel case has an observatory back where you can see the automatic caliber 635, which has been fully serviced by us and is running strongly.
A sapphire glass, integrated lugs and stainless steel, signed Oris crown complete the watch.
The watch comes on its original black rubber strap with a deployment clasp.
Oris was founded in 1904 by two men, Paul Cattin and Georges Christian. The name comes from a brook at the Swiss town of Hölstein, in a short span of time they became the largest employer in Hölstein. By 1929, they had a total of six factories. At the end of the 1960s, Oris became one of the largest watch companies in the world, producing approximately 1.2 million timepieces a year.
The watch comes with our 12 months, non-waterproof service cover having been recently serviced by Oris.
What we think
Once again, Oris have proved how great they are at designing a watch that gives you a lot of bang for your buck while still maintaining a modest price. We've kept the watch on its original strap for a more sporty feel.
