We have here a full set Cartier Ronde with an original, cream / ivory -coloured dial with all the features of that classic Cartier style - Roman numerals, railway-style minute tracking, sword-shaped, blue steel hands and cabochon winding crown. We particularly love the articulated, Vendôme lugs which add an extra touch of elegance and sophistication.
The vermeil case, also known as silver gilt, or gold-plated sterling silver, measures 24mm and is a very comfortable wear on the wrist and this smaller size makes it the perfect watch for ladies. Inside the case is the Swissquartz caliber 81, fully serviced by us and running strongly. We've paired this watch on a brown french genuine lizard strap with a plain, gold-tone buckle. The watch comes with original papers, certificate and even the original reciept - a real find!

The 'Must De' Cartier concept was first introduced around 1973 when the Cartier lighter became the must-have accessory. Cartier branched out from jewellery to pens, leather goods, fragrances and more affordable watches. One of the main ways they transformed their designs way by making them out of vermeil, or silver gilt, which is gold-plated sterling silver. This made the watches more affordable whilst still having the prestige of being made from a precious metal. Various sizes, dial colours and finishes were then produced for both men and women. The Must de Cartier line was faded out at the beginning of the 21st century.
