Have a question?
This watch
Well now for something very different! , Not only a very individual and attractive design but also with obvious notes from the 1930s and 1940s with an Art Deco feel too. A proper time-capsule piece: an unused (new old stock) Jean Perret Genève tank-style watch with its original presentation box and paperwork dated 22/07/73. The articulated/flexible lug design is a standout detail, and the dial is wonderfully “unusual” in the best way—graphic Roman numerals on a two-tone black/gold layout that screams smart 1970s design.
This watch comes totally unused new old stock which is another amazing bonus! you could be the first to wear it! The watch is probably for someone equally unique and individual and someone who appreciates design and quality.
Extra Points
Jean Perret is an independent Swiss, family-run watch company with roots that trace back to 1893, still associated with multi-generation family ownership and Swiss production.
That context makes a complete, dated set like this even cooler: it’s not just a 1970s tank—it's a genuine “store-stock survivor” from a long-running Swiss maker.
What We Think
Rectangular/tank watches are absolutely back in fashion—icons like the Cartier Tank and Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso have helped push “shaped watches” into the spotlight again, and this Jean Perret hits the same design itch with a more unusual, collector-friendly twist. Such an attractive around piece from the stylistic flexible lugs to the Roman chapter dial. Has the look of a far more expensive timepiece.
