This Watch

A stainless steel Omega Constellation, officially certified chronometer timepiece with date and day function! This particular model 169.045 has a stunning, silver dial which changes colour in different light and straight, chrome hands and batons.

The in-house, Omega-signed caliber 751 has quick date change and sits inside a stainless steel, screw-back case, the classic, 'Constellation' stamp of the Geneva observatory and the original, stainless steel bracelet.  This rarer Constellation also has a white gold bezel and an integrated case and bracelet.  Our workshop has fully refurbished the case, while keeping the original matte front and polished edges design.

Extra Points

Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group. Louis Brandt, who established the firm in 1848 in La Chax de Fonds. In 1903, the company changed it's name to Omega, becoming the only watch brand in history to have been named after one its own movements. A full-fledged manufacturer of highly accurate, affordable and reliable watches, its sterling reputation enabled them to be chosen as the first watch company to time the Olympic Games beginning in 1932. Its continued focus on precision and reliability ultimately led their Speedmaster chronograph to be chosen by the NASA in 1965, the first watch worn on the moon.

All Omega Constellations are 'Chronometer Officially Certified' watches, which means that they are tested to the highest possible level.  Omega have called it "the most distinguished-title a watch may carry."  In order to achieve this title, each of the 153 essential components that make up these watches undergo 360-hour accuracy and reliability tests and inspections.

The watch comes fully serviced by our on-site workshop and with our 12 months, non-waterproof service cover.  In fact, the overhaul has got the watch running to +/- 8 seconds per day!
