This Watch

A proper time-capsule piece from Technos – NOS (new old stock), still presented with its original strap, buckle, swing tag and box. The design is the headline here: a bold, architectural case with those distinctive “bridge” lugs that makes the watch feel almost like a miniature piece of modernist furniture on the wrist.

Then there’s the dial… a fumé blue gradient that deepens toward the edges, finished with a fine horizontal line texture that catches light in a really pleasing, almost “brushed silk” way. Minimal markers and crisp hands keep it clean, graphic, and very wearable.

It’s one of those watches that sits right on the line between dressy and design-led, and we genuinely think it works brilliantly as a his-or-hers piece.

This watch comes totally unused new old stock which is another amazing bonus! you could be the first to wear it! The watch is probably for someone equally unique and individual and someone who appreciates design and quality.

Extra Points

Technos’ roots go back to 1900, when the Gunzinger family set up a watchmaking business in Welschenrohr, Switzerland; the Technos name itself was later established and the brand’s first watches are generally dated to 1924. From there it grew into a widely exported mid-century Swiss marque, building a strong following in overseas markets. Like many Swiss brands it was hit hard by the 1970s quartz crisis, and the company’s rights to the Technos trademark were ultimately sold to its long-time Japanese importer Heiwado in 1982; over time the brand’s centre of gravity shifted toward South America, with rights later transferring to Technos Relógios S.A. (Brazil), which has continued the name to the present day.

What We Think

This is the sort of watch that reminds you why vintage is fun – it’s not trying to be a copy of anything else. The case has that confident, experimental era of Swiss design written all over it, while the dial keeps things calm and refined. The result is a watch that feels graphic, stylish, and genuinely different, without being loud.

Because it’s NOS, it also has that rare “fresh” feel you almost never get with vintage: sharp lines, clean presentation, and the kind of originality that’s getting harder to find.

Strap note (important): As with most NOS watches, the original leather strap is unused but time-aged. Leather can dry out over decades, becoming brittle and unsafe for regular wear. To make sure the new owner can enjoy the watch properly, we’re including two alternative 26mm strap options. If you’d like something made to measure, a bespoke strap maker (for example Strap Tailor https://thestraptailor.com/ ) can produce a custom strap and often accommodate the original Technos buckle.
