Well now for something very different! can we call this a vintage eco friendly watch , Not only a very individual and attractive design but also using a rare combination of solid silver and wood. Seven connected circles each linked with 925 grade silver and outer wooden frames. We have never seen a watch like it and probably never will. Favre-Leuba were renown for producing unusual and innovative watches during the 1960d and 70s but this is pretty outstanding in our opinion. Fully mechanical manual winding swiss FL jewelled movement with a very attractive, almost porcelain white dial and roman numerals , moon type hour and minute hands with a design taken from the 1900-1920s.
This watch comes totally unused new old stock which is another amazing bonus! you could be the first to wear it! The watch is probably for someone equally unique and individual and someone who appreciates design and quality. In truth if this was a gents size i would totally wear it myself. A real statement piece and i will go as far as saying "Find me another"
It could well be connected to any established watch designer of its time however we have been unable to connect it to anyone so far. The search Continues.....

Maison Favre-Leuba over time It is the year 1737. In Le Locle, a small Swiss village in the Jura mountains and in the heart of the watchmaking world, Abraham Favre decided to officially register his Manufacture producing timepieces. It was one of the earliest watchmaking companies. From the very start Abraham Favre concentrated on improving the technology of his timepieces, and the quality of the materials employed in their manufacture. Thanks to his hard work and pioneering spirit, the business expanded and was passed down through eight generations of the Favre family. It was his grandson Henry-Auguste, who in 1814 went a step further by going into partnership with Auguste Leuba, a watch dealer from Buttes in the Val-de-Travers. By the 19th and early 20th centuries Favre-Leuba had ramifications around the world, with offices or representations throughout the Middle East, India and Asia, North/South America, Russia and other European countries. The business remained in the same family over eight generations, through to 1969. Then the quartz revolution came along, bringing many changes for the industry. Favre-Leuba, one of the largest companies of its time, passed through different hands such as Benedom SA and LVMH before finally regaining its independence in 2003.
