This Watch

The Hamilton 6Bs were issued to the British Royal Air Force from the mid 1960s through to the mid 1970s, and a few versions were produced. The 6B-9101000 was not the rarest of those produced, but it is a favourite among collectors because of the Broad Arrow and 'T' stamped on the dial.
It is a fantastic military piece for those looking to begin their collection (as well as a great addition to an already growing one!) as it does aesthetically and internally strongly resemble IWC's and JLC's Mark XI, having been built to the same specifications, but it is a fraction of the price!

Extra Points

You've got all the classic military features on this watch.  Black dial with applied Arabic numerals, tritium luminous markers, Broad Arrow and tritium 'T' on the dial, case back markings, military case and fixed lugs.  It is also the rare non-hacking version of the Hamilton RAF watches.

What we think

In addition to the fact that this is a gorgeous example of the Hamilton 6B-9101000, exact numbers of the production of this version have been estimated at only 3,000.  Whereas for IWC's Mark XI approximately 9,000 produced, making the Hamilton three times more rare!
