A beautiful dress watch by Hamilton Watch Co. with an early micro-rotor automatic Hamilton unlike the conventional central, full-rotor, which was the more common caliber - making this quite a rare item! This caliber was a collaboration between Buren & Hamilton and was much like the collaboration between them and Heuer. This movement is marked Buren 1282 which is the equivalent to Hamilton 682. Basically it's the same caliber, co produced. Super slim for an automatic along with date function too.
This piece has the most attractive satin burst gold -effect dial that changes with light and angle. The dial is in mint, original condition, The design and quality equal to a watch in the £1000s - Notes of Vacheron - Piaget and Even Patek! The dial is signed with the Hamilton name and logo at 12 o'clock. The hours are indicated by slim Roman numerals and internal minute track.
The hands are simple straight and black, fitting the margins of the watch well. No seconds hand on this model but not missed and enables the slim design to be achieved.
The case is in strong condition with only light surface scratches that are consistent with age. The plexi-glass crystal is in perfect condition, with no marks, scratches or dents.

Overall, the condition is amazing and not far off unused. A dial to die for and a movement of historical importance. super slim and totally symmetrical. Even the cabochon type crown is a winner. A stunning dress watch and amazing value for money.
