This Watch
We do not see too many vintage Corum watches available today so were delighted to be able to offer this unusual ladies dress watch today! The quality of this slim, stainless steel watch needs to be appreciated. With its engine-turned bezel and stunning, satin silver, original dial. Even right down to the Corum-finished, high-grade, 21 jewel, mechanical Swiss movement, fully serviced by us and running strongly. A smart, sophisticated and slim piece with stunning Roman numerals and the famous Corum raised logo. An added bonus is its original Corum steel buckle. Note the Cartier-style cabochon winder and the design of this watch does give a nod to various Cartier design favorites.
Extra Points
Corum was founded by Gaston Ries and René Bannwart in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1955. In 1960 Rene Bannwart created the instantly recognisable Admiral’s Cup watch, with its inspiration taken from the world-famous, international yachting regatta at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Corum has supported the race right up to its last race in 2003. Since that time Corum called this range of watches the Admiral’s Collection.
