This Watch

This all-original Omega Semaster, model 2677 is a classic example of 1950s watch design! It's spectacular, two-tone dial has a sense of symmetry with the mixed, gilt, Arabic and arrow markers, as well as the gilt hour, minute and sweeping central seconds hands.

The Omega bumper automatic caliber 351 is housed inside a stainless steel, screw-back case, complete with the chunkier lugs that are so familiar in 1950s watches.

Extra Points

Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.

What we think

We love the feel of the bumper movement inside the watch.  It just sings 1950s technology to us! What we love even more though, is when that movement is with an all-original watch! And a Seamaster no less! Looks great on both genders and a must-have in any collection!
