This Watch

This beautiful Omega Seamaster from 1968 has a crispness to the dial which is typical of Omega's 1960s designs.  We love the clean lines of the baton markers and baton hands and the symmetry of the dial.  Nothing screams 'classic dress watch' like a 1960s Omega.

The automatic, Omega caliber 552 sits in the stainless steel, screw-back case with the Seamaster hippocampus on the case back.  Coming in at 34mm, it comes complete with the original Omega buckle.

Extra Points

Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.

What we think

An Omega Geneve Seamaster is a must have for any collection and this particular example is one of the nicest we've seen in a long time, and it comes with the original box!  It is a great fit for both men and women, and for first-time buyers or the seasoned collector.
